Hugo Hamel , President
Founder and President of Prival, Mr Hamel has more than 15 years of high level experience working in large network infrastructure environments. Through the years, he has developed in-depth knowledge and a high level of expertise in providing network infrastructure services.
Mainly responsible for the strategic management of Prival, he manages the investments in research and development. He also handles partner relations and directs business development. He focuses Prival’s efforts on the development of high performance technology that is accessible and easy to use.
Caroline Biron , Vice-presidente
A Member of the Quebec Order of Engineers since 1989, Ms Biron has occupied the role of Vice President of IT within large-scale Quebec companies for several years. Her wide-ranging administrative and technical experience enables her to effectively manage the operational and administrative aspects of Prival.
Ms Biron manages the process aimed at optimizing internal operations and the effectiveness of Prival’s resources. She is also responsible for financial operations and marketing projects.
Wissam Dib , Systems Administrator – Team Leader
Mr Dib has obtained numerous IT certifications (ex. MCSE, CCNA, etc.) and has worked on many important IT consultation projects for businesses of all sizes. He has been providing IT consultation and installation services for close to 10 years.
As a team leader at Prival, his main responsibilities are projects management (ex. Network implementation and IT installations), internal team management, and quality assurance of technical support services and internal processes.
Gerhard Mourani , Software developer
Mr Mourani has nearly 15 years of experience in IT, specializing in network security, network architecture, and software development. An expert in Linux, he has authored and co-authored the books “Securing & Optimizing Linux: The Ultimate Solution ” (v2.0), “Securing and Optimizing Linux Red Hat Edition - A Hands on Guide ” (v1.3), Securing & Optimizing Linux: The Hacking Solution (v.3.0).
At Prival, his main responsibilities include managing and participating in the development of PrivalEyes, a powerful monitoring and network management tool. He also takes care of the installation and administration of Linux networks, firewall configurations, and manages the company’s Research and Development projects.
